About this project
Bhangra is a traditional north Indian and Pakistani dance that has potential to become the new zumba in the fitness world. Imtiaz Bagum, CEO of Bhangrabeats, started the company in 2011 to spread bhangra as a fitness dance within Denmark. After several fitness videos, she decided that it was time to make a professional one that shows the dance’s festive side as well. She got a group of dancers together, mostly from her fitness classes, and choreographed the steps to her music of choice.
HD Play did the filming for the video, while I did the editing for the video. What’s slightly special with this project is that I was also one of the subjects in the video itself, as a dancer.
