Here is a CV design for a client who wanted something different from the standard format. He requested for a designed that “popped”.All names and contact details in this example are fictitious. Nevertheless, you can see how visually engaging the overall design of this CV is compared to a traditional CV that is made up only of text.

About this project

As you can see, the theme chosen here was the Matrix, and the font used was one that mimicked the default style of plain text in Notepad or in MS Dos. The client who submitted this CV to his headhunting centre is now known internally as “The Matrix guy”. This is how a CV design that is “different from the rest” can help you stand out and be remembered. This is also what branding is about.
